- High factor sunscreen;

IMMUNISATION
- Always check whether you
need any immunisations or malarial tablets before you travel
- Seek advice well in advance
in case you need a course of injections
OTHER

- Condoms/ other contraceptives
MEDICAL
INSURANCE
- Arrange medical insurance
- Obtain an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) if you are travelling in Europe. It entitles
you to free or reduced cost medical care in european Union countries. Rember to take the card
with you.. (it replaced the old E111 form).
- To apply for your card, go to your Post Office or apply online at www.ehic.org
- A word of caution: some forms of medical care can still be very expensive even with an EHIC
